Board of Directors

Clifford D. Mpare is an investment executive with extensive experience across the United States, Canada and Africa. His career spans institutional investment management, investment research, private equity, infrastructure investments and financial advisory services.

He was Executive Vice President and CIO at NCM Capital Advisors ($6 Billion); as well as Senior Vice President and Director of Research at Piedmont Investment Advisors, where he directed investment research supporting an approximately US$2 billion portfolio. His leadership experience also includes serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Frontline Capital Advisors and Non-Executive Chairman of AFB (Letshego) Ghana.

Clifford is the Founding President of CFA Society Ghana and has held board and trustee appointments with the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund and the Venture Capital Trust Fund. He holds an MBA from Dalhousie University in Canada and is a CFA charter holder. His passion includes mentoring investment professionals.

As Board Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Atlas Advisory & Analytics LLC, Clifford will provide strategic guidance and independent oversight, drawing on his international investment experience to support the firm’s growth, governance and commitment to expanding access to capital in emerging markets.

Sylvia Solomon is an investment professional with more than 30 years of experience in global portfolio management, sustainable investing and investment governance. She serves as Chair of CFA Society UK and Chief Investment Officer at Dhow Capital Group, where she leads investment strategy in global commodities trade finance.

Her career includes managing pension funds, endowments and alternative investment portfolios, with previous roles at Baring Asset Management, Hermes Investment Management and Ennismore Fund Management.

Sylvia played a pivotal role in developing the Certificate in ESG Investing, now offered globally by CFA Institute as the Sustainable Investing Certificate. Her contribution to professional education earned her the CFA Institute’s 2022 Inspirational Leader Award for Education.

She also serves on the University of Aberdeen Investment Committee and advises Impactable Investment Group on institutional-scale impact investing.

As a non-executive Board Member of Atlas Advisory & Analytics LLC, Sylvia brings deep expertise in portfolio management, sustainable investing and investment governance to the firm’s oversight and growth.

Eric Huang is an economist and policy professional whose work spans technology, geopolitics and emerging markets. His interests include artificial intelligence, financial technology and the influence of public policy on economic development.

He serves as Senior Editor at EconVue and is listed as an Asia and Emerging Markets specialist at Hale Strategic. He previously served as the Kuomintang’s deputy representative to the United States, contributing to policy engagement on US–China–Taiwan relations. His experience also includes economic development advisory work with Ethiopia’s government.

Eric is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School and holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was a Sloan Fellow.

As a member of the Board of Atlas Advisory & Analytics LLC, Eric brings perspectives on technological change, international policy and emerging-market opportunities to the firm’s strategic deliberations.
